Roman Chariots

Roman Chariots

Roman Chariots were not very different from those of their neighbours the Etruscans or indeed those of the Greeks or even the Brittons (who were famous for their ability with them). Where the Romans were possibly unique was in the development of light weight racing chariots where the rider was pretty much balancing on the wheels at break-neck speeds.
