Holiday apartments for sale on the Tuscany - Umbria - Latium border in Italy

We have a small number of apartments for sale. A couple of these we are keeping with the purpose of renting for self-catering holidays and vacations.

General description of the location

Valentano borders with Tuscany to the north and Latium to the south, as well as the shores of the huge and panoramic lake Bolsena. Umbria lies due east. The village dates back to the medieval period and its earliest beginnings can be traced back to the Paleolithic era after which there is some record of it having been an Etruscan meeting point of great importance.

Its dominating position and views are still as compelling today as they were for 18th century English travelers such as George Dennis and D.H.Lawrence.

Apart from the local richness of Etruscan archeology, this area is also renowned for its Olive oil, mushroom picking, its woods and scenic landscapes as well as the many and varied mineral water springs which bubble up in the middle of fields. Some are hot and containing minerals of different sorts. Lake Bolsena and the villages on its shores, not to mention the two small islands within it are renowned tourist attractions.

The Mediterranean sea at Montalto Marina is some 20miles due West. The lake shore is under 2miles away. Rome, Florence, Orvieto, Arezzo, Assisi and Viterbo to mention but a few places of interest can all be easily reached. The Etruscans are all around.

The properties for sale are in a wooded area of  considerable natural beauty some 250m above Lake Bolsena and 550m above sea level. The properties face directly onto Pine woodland.

There is a very convenient shopping centre within walking distance including supermarket, fruit shop and butcher, pizzeria, ice-cream parlour, news agents, hairdresser and beauty salon etc.

Having more than one apartment in the same small building of eight. We have furnishe and readied a couple for self-catering vacation rents. We include some photographs of one such apartment.
