Description of the Area

The Casale Recanati villa is set in the countryside of the Marche region of Italy, bordering with Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio. The villa is at 10km (approx 7 miles) from the splendid Riviera Conero and 3km (2 miles) from the mediaeval town of Recanati.

Quiet, surrounded by an acre of its own land and Olive groves this is the perfect, romantic setting to come back to after a hectic day's lying on the beach or visiting the many beautiful sights to be found in this area: For example, the Opera is splendid and in fame approaching to that of Verona due to its fabulous setting.

There is no shortage of antiquities and Renaissance art close at hand. Just to mention the most obvious possibilites: Assisi and Perugia are within a day's visit. San Marino is a drive up the motorway along the coast. Urbino is an hour's drive away, not to mention the beauty of Macerata, Ascoli Piceno and a little further we have Florence, Rome and countless other places worth visiting!

The Conero riviera with it's wonderful coastline is extremely attractive and a favourite of sun and art lovers.

Casale Recanati is large (110sqm approx 950 sqft on each of the two floors) furnished with authentic local pieces, including all comforts (note: not all furnishings will be sold with the villa). The architectural layout has been left relatively open plan in accordance with the original architecture. 

Given the open plan layout, the villa is currently set up to sleep 2 persons per floor + sofa beds but given the size it can easily accommodate 4/floor if necessary. Just to given an idea of size, each floor is large enough for a two or three bedroom apartment!
