Rome studio apartment for 2+1 - "Boschetto"

Rome studio apartment in the city centre. This delightful self-catering apartment is the raised ground floor of a small 18^th cent. building situated in a characteristic little Roman street a few steps from the ancient Roman Forum and the Colosseum. Completely renovated and refurnished in summer 2002, this Rome apartment offers the opportunity to live as Romans, with the small shops nearby and the wonders of the "eternal city" on hand. In restructuring the apartment 's architectural features have been retained: the stuccoed ceiling, the archway, the characteristic window and front door are original.

The sleeping area is spacious and fully furnished with a double bed (optional two singles), an elegant bathroom and a practical walk-in wardrobe room. The living area with its smart and tasteful décor is to the front of the apartment. There is also an extra single sofa bed. After a tiring day’s sightseeing guests can prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchen area.

One could write a book of what there is to see in the immediate vicinity of the studio apartment. Many of the main monuments are within walking distance but buses and metro are close by. The closest areas of interest include the Colosseum to the south, the Roman forum to the west and the presidential palace "Quirinale" to the north. The ministry of interiors is to the east. The via Nazionale street is just round the corner to the studio apartment - good for shopping. The palazzo delle Esposizioni (the exhibitions palace) and the Bank of Italy are also a stone's throw away.
