Aphrodite Greek Goddess of Love

Aphrodite was the Greek equivalent of the Roman goddess Venus. Both goddesses (or both versions of the same goddess) have deeper roots into the Indo-European origins of the peoples who came to populate Europe and in particular the Mediterranean basin.
